Hi Kaitlin! Okay so I’m really excited about this idea I think this is a mix of everything we’ve discussed and allows plenty of time for you to make your bridal walk along the side and then down the aisle. This mixes the Peter Pan intro with the Princess Bride OST. I’m hoping this is close to what we’re going for. Let me know your thoughts

  • Make any necessary announcements about hors d'oeuvres, drinks.

  • As cocktail hour winds down, guide everyone to take there seats by dinner tables.

  • Get everyone ready for the grand entrance and first dance.

6:45pm | Grand Entrance

One idea I am especially excited about is using "Shake It Out" by Florence + The Machine for your grand entrance and then transitioning directly into "I Hear a Symphony" for your first dance.

  • The goal here is to create a true transition from celebration into intimacy.

At the end of cocktail hour, we'll invite everyone to find their seats and get ready for one of the biggest moments of the evening. As the music begins building, I'll gather everyone's attention and let them know that you two, now husband and wife, are about to make their grand entrance before sharing their first dance together.

I'll encourage everyone to get on their feet, cheer, clap, and help create the energy as we welcome you in for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Brevitt.

As the song reaches its big moment, I'll introduce you both and you'll make your way into the reception space surrounded by your friends and family. Rather than having everyone remain seated, the goal is for guests to naturally follow you toward the dance floor so they can witness and share in the first dance moment together.

From there, the energy of "Shake It Out" gradually gives way to the emotional warmth of "I Hear a Symphony," creating a beautiful contrast between celebration and romance.

Musically, I really like this pairing because the songs flow naturally into one another. "Shake It Out" ends in F Major while "I Hear a Symphony" sits in E flat Major, creating a smooth and satisfying step down that feels intentional rather than abrupt. I think this transition helps tell the story of the evening in a way that feels cinematic and personal.

I'm happy to explore other ideas as well, but so far this is my favorite pitch for the moment.

The timing and flow described above is how I currently envision the entrance unfolding. But we can shorten or lengthen

  • Breathe and let the moment pause after and let everyone get there sits

  • Speech | Welcome & Thank You from Mr. & Mrs. Brevitt

Hi Kaitlin & Khalil,

I’m so excited for your wedding. This is where we really start dialing in the moments and shaping the day musically.

You can fill this out together or individually, whatever feels easiest. Either way is helpful. I designed it to be fun and to help you both hone in on what you care about most when it comes to music. It also gives me a strong starting point so everything we build reflects your taste, your energy, and your story.

Don’t overthink it. You can be as detailed as you’d like. I’ll read all of it. I love music too, so this is always one of my favorite parts of the process.

I really loved hearing about how you met through Fun Patrol and how music has already been such a big part of your relationship. My goal is to make sure your wedding reflects that. Something that feels true to both of you, and something your friends and family get to experience as uniquely yours.

Music is powerful, and this is going to be a really fun one to build together.

Once you submit it, I’ll review everything and we’ll schedule a call to go through it together and start locking things in. The goal is to have everything feeling clear and dialed by the 30 day mark so you can just enjoy the lead up to the day.

Really excited to be working with you both.
